Meet Your Coach - Alex Palmer
About Alex
Working with Alex is direct, pragmatic, and designed to cut through the complexity of modern men’s healthcare. Before founding Fellowman, Alex spent over two decades in senior e-commerce and executive marketing roles, leading digital strategy, managing high-performing teams, and navigating the intense pressures of corporate & start-up business environments. Alex’s path took a pivotal turn when facing his own severe mental health crisis, an experience that transformed personal struggle into a focused professional mission.
In his role as a coach at Fellowman, Alex serves as the critical first point of contact for men facing burnout, identity shifts, and mental health challenges. Rather than providing traditional psychotherapy, Alex operates an intensive, multi-faceted monthly program. He functions as a trusted partner, case manager, and strategist, helping men assess where they currently stand, recalibrate foundational lifestyle pillars, and demystify the mental health landscape to connect them directly with the right mental health providers.
Coaching & Case Management Approach
Alex bridges the gap between proactive mental fitness and formal clinical care. His structured monthly program helps men establish a clear baseline, build immediate traction, and access the exact clinical resources they need without the usual friction or guesswork:
-
Comprehensive Assessment & Care Navigation: Breaking down the overwhelming jargon, acronyms, and mismatched directories of the therapy world to match each client with the right clinical specialist, modality, and care level.
-
Foundational Lifestyle Optimization: Auditing and fine-tuning the daily baselines that drive mental stability, including sleep, exercise, nutrition, biomarker awareness, and stress recovery.
-
Navigating High-Pressure Burnout & Career Inflections: Guiding leaders, founders, and professionals through severe chronic stress, loss of drive, and the necessary process of decoupling self-worth from work performance.
-
Relational Transitions & Identity Grounding: Providing peer-to-peer accountability and structured focus for men navigating divorce, co-parenting dynamics, and major life recalibrations.
